By registering to take part in the Bristol to Paris Cycle Challenge you are pledging to raise the minimum sponsorship of £1,550.00 - which can seem a bit daunting!

Our fundraising team will support you as much as possible in planning your fundraising to help you reach your target and below is a list of ideas to help get you on your way.

Fundraising events

Events are a fantastic way to get your fundraising off the ground. It could be anything from a bake sale to a craft fair - or why not think outside the box! Previously we've had Bristol to Paris participants host a speed dating night and a brewery tour.

You can add value to your event by including an auction or a raffle and if appropriate you could charge an entry fee.

Make it easy for people to donate

Set up your Everyday Hero page as soon as you've signed up to the challenge and get sharing! Why not print business cards with the link on to hand out to friends and family?

Celebrate

Have you got a birthday, anniversary or special occasion coming up? Why not ask for donations instead of gifts from your friends and family?

Fundraising at work

Your colleagues may want to get involved and support you. You could ask for donations for a dress down Friday, start a sweepstake or raffle off a parking space. Your employer may be able to offer 'match funding' - a great way to double the amount you've raised.

You could also start a team with your colleagues and take on the challenge together!

Supporting your fundraising

We can help you make the most of your fundraising by providing you with t-shirts, collection tins and buckets, sponsorship forms, Above & Beyond leaflets and newsletters and pin badges.
