Get involved Events London Marathon 2020 Please note: in light of Government advice around COVID-19 the organisers of the London Marathon have made the decision to postpone the event from Sunday 26 April to Sunday 4 October. You can find more information on the London Marathon website. Were you lucky enough to get a ballot place in the 2020 London Marathon? The London Marathon is one of the most iconic events to take part in! With 40,000 runners taking on the challenge every year, the event is one of the most coveted in the UK. Above & Beyond sadly don’t have any charity places for the 2020 London Marathon. Therefore, we can only support runners who gained a place in the ballot, and wish to run and represent Above & Beyond. If you got a ballot place There are so many reasons you should run to raise money for your local Bristol hospitals! Not only will you be helping to raise vital funds for patients, their families and friends, and NHS staff, but you will receive: Excellent support from a committed staff member to help with your fundraising A free running vest/t-shirt Fundraising resources – buckets, banners, balloons and more! I have my own place FAQs Do you have any charity places for the London Marathon? Unfortunately, as an organisation we do not have any charity places for this event. How much do I need to fundraise? If you have your own ballot place, you can raise as much as you want to for your hospitals! Can I sign a team up to take part? Of course! If you would like to enter a team, please email [email protected] to have a chat. I’ve never fundraised before, and I don’t know where to start. What do I do?
