Join Bristol Against Cancer by fundraising with your colleagues

Wards Against Cancer is a chance for UHBW staff to come together to raise funds for Bristol Against Cancer

You can fundraise however you like: ward raffles, hosting a tuck shop for your colleagues, or get a sweepstake going.

And with Christmas nearly here, you can incorporate all of your festive fundraising ideas - including getting dressed up for National Elf Service - into your Wards Against Cancer team activities.

If you fancy something a little more active, why not take on a team fitness challenge: cycling, running, walking, swimming, hula hooping, yoga - the possibilities are endless!

Each ward, department or office has a fundraising target of £300 and a prize will be awarded to the ward that raises the most for Bristol Against Cancer.

Only one person needs to sign up on behalf of the team. If that's you, click the link below to register!

How to get involved

1. Sign up to Wards Against Cancer using our simple registration form. It's free, all we ask is that you aim to raise £300. If you can raise £300 we’ll send each team member a limited edition Smidge rainbow water bottle (limited stock available).

2. Start your fundraising. Create your JustGiving page, set your fundraising target and share your page so that friends, family and colleagues can sponsor you. They could even join you in the challenge!

3. Share your story. Every story is special so why not share your story to your JustGiving page and social media channels. Let everyone know why you have chosen to fundraise for Wards Against Cancer in support of Bristol Against Cancer.

4. If you're taking on an active challenge, you can keep track of your activity using a fitness app like Strava and watch your kilometres - and your fundraising total - add up. You can link Strava to your JustGiving page so your donors can see how many kilometres you and your teammates clocking up.
