Fundraise with colleagues this Christmas

We know it's not quite the same as being in an office or workplace, but getting together with your workmates for some virtual festive fundraising will make a huge difference to NHS staff and patients spending time in Bristol city centre hospitals this Christmas.

National Elf Service

Son of a nutcracker! National Elf Service is back on Thursday 17 December. Set aside the day (or choose a day to suit you) to dress up as an elf or your favourite Christmas character to raise funds for your hospitals.

Find out more about joining the National Elf Service.

Secret Santa

You may not be able to do a classic office Secret Santa this year so why not buy a gift for someone spending time in hospital instead? A donation of £6 will ensure that a patient in hospital will receive a gift on Christmas Day. You can donate individually or as an organisation.

If you'd like to discuss this further, please contact our Corporate Partnerships Officer Gemma on [email protected]

Christmas Musical Bingo

What office party is complete without games? Our Christmas Musical Bingo can be played virtually or in person.

We can supply you with up to 30 bingo cards which you can print or access on smartphones and laptops, and a Christmas playlist. All you need is access to Spotify and a group of competitive colleagues!

To host your own musical bingo:

  1. Register for free to receive your bingo cards and a link to the Above & Beyond Spotify playlist.
  2. Depending on the guidelines in your area at the time, you can play in person or virtually over Zoom, House Party or whichever video platform takes your fancy.
  3. Ask players to make a donation to take part. It’s an easy way to fundraise for Bristol city centre hospitals!

Giving gifts this Christmas

Many businesses like to deliver gifts to the hospitals in person at Christmas. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 policies put in place to protect patients, staff and your employees, we're unable to invite you into the hospitals this year.

However, a donation today will mean that we can ensure each of the 1,000 patients spending Christmas in hospital will receive a gift on Christmas Day. Thank you.
