Bon Voyage! Please help cheer our 2017 event cyclists off on Friday 28 April

Join us outside Bristol Royal Infirmary on Friday 28 April at 9:45am to help bid Bon Voyage to Above & Beyond’s 80 Bristol to Paris cyclists who are raising funds for the children’s hospital. French flags will be available on the morning for enthusiastic waving!

The official start of the 430km fundraising cycle is outside the main entrance of the BRI and we’d love a huge crowd to give the team of cyclists, including hospital staff, corporate partners and enthusiastic members of the public, the send-off they deserve.

The team are fundraising for Bristol Royal Children's Hospital, please sponsor their amazing efforts here

Friday 28 April - Tuesday 2 May, 2017 Bristol to Paris Cycle Challenge 2017 - registration now open

Take 2 wheels, 430kms, 4 days, a bit of sweat and a lot of laughs – that’s the Bristol to Paris Cycle Challenge.

80 cyclists are set for four unforgettable days in the saddle. Setting off from Bristol they will spend two days cycling through quintessentially countryside en-route to Portsmouth. Then they set sail to France for two more action packed days before crossing the Seine to finish triumphant at the foot of the Eiffel Tower.

Money raised in 2017 will make all the difference to children like Ben whose life was changed in an instant. Whilst playing with friends one morning, Ben went to open the window but lost his balance. He fell from the first floor onto the concrete patio below fracturing his skull. His head injury was so severe he couldn't walk, talk or eat. He could barely sit up on his own and needed round-the-clock nursing care. For three months, the dedicated team at the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children's Major Trauma and Rehabilitation Unit provided physio, occupational therapy, supportive psychology and help with his speech until, little by little, he began to improve.

Help us raise £100,000 Bristol to Paris Cycle Challenge 2017 - registration now open

We urgently need to fund £100,000 to support children like Ben from across the South West who are suffering from traumatic brain injuries, brain tumours, epilepsy and cerebral palsy. With your support, by undertaking the Bristol to Paris Cycle Challenge, we can build a rehabilitation kitchen in the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children's Major Trauma and Rehabilitation Unit to help children re-learn the basic tasks of daily life, create a tranquil oasis garden to provide a quiet, private space for families to spend precious time together, and form a stimulating, fun environment to support every step of a child's long road to recovery.

Please help support children like Ben, by sponsoring the cyclists here

Be inspired!
