Interested in taking on a charity challenge in 2019?

Join the Bristol to Paris Cycle Challenge’s fifth anniversary ride as a corporate team and you can experience a unique, fun and fulfilling team-building challenge.

The B2P Cycle Challenge is an opportunity to promote health and wellbeing throughout your workplace while building and strengthening relationships across departments. For a bit of friendly competition, you could set up smaller teams within the organisation to see who comes out on top! If appropriate, why not team together with business associates or clients?

However you decide to approach the challenge, fundraising for your local hospitals and NHS staff will bring colleagues closer together and galvanise your team to do its best.

For initial enquiries please contact Corporate Partnerships Manager Edd on [email protected] or 0117 3700 486.

Being part of such a big team was incredibly motivating and there was always someone to train with if you wanted to push yourself. It's something you will never regret taking part in and I can honestly say the ride has changed my life.

Why take part as a team?

  • Support and motivation of your colleagues.
  • Team building across your organisation.
  • Promote health and wellbeing in the workplace.
  • Opportunity for match funding from your employer.
  • Corporate sponsorship of jerseys from suppliers and associates.
  • A team fundraising target, making it easier to reach your goal together by undertaking joint activities. Our EverydayHero community means you can also set up team fundraising pages that show your supporters your collective achievements.

What can be achieved? DAC Beachcroft raises £100,000!

Over the past three years, 40 members of staff from DAC Beachcroft have taken part in the Bristol to Paris Cycle Challenge. Together they have raised more than £100,000 for projects and equipment including a 3D ultrasound scanner for St. Michael’s Hospital, a refurbishment to the Major Trauma Rehabilitation Unit at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children, and a cardiac scanner.

Nick Knapman, Location Head at DAC Beachcroft's Bristol office, said: “I'm very proud of the efforts made by colleagues over the three years we've been supporting Above and Beyond, and know first-hand that it has been a hugely fulfilling experience for those of us who have taken part.

"We are committed to giving something back to the community in which we live and work, especially when we can see the difference that Above & Beyond makes to people's lives in Bristol, many of whom are our friends and families."
