I joined the Charity in March 1997. I had worked in or for the NHS all my working life and believed that working for the Charity was an excellent way to see it all from a different angle. I love the way we are able to make a difference to what can sometimes be a daunting experience for patients and their families. I am very proud of our organisation and the way in which the whole team really pull together to support one another to achieve our common goals. I love to get right away at weekends with my husband in our motor-home and we enjoy walking our black labrador and cycling along disused railway lines.
