Lucy Smith
I joined Above & Beyond in September 2008 as the Community Fundraising Manager. My role uses the many skills I developed working in events and marketing in the corporate sector, though there’s been plenty of opportunities to learn new ones, including a recent 175 foot abseil from Bristol’s Premier Inn and planning a 200 mile fundraising cycle for 7 consultants around the South West. I love the variety of people I meet in my job and seeing how much passion and enthusiasm there is in Bristol to make our Hospitals even better. When I’m not working, I like playing badminton and looking after the tadpoles that have become the latest addition to my family.
