Above and Beyond Charities - The Charitable Trust for the United Bristol Hospitals
Types of Support![]() Everyone can make a difference
![]() Fundraise at work - From cake sales to multi-coloured moustaches, there are many ways people fundraise for us at work. Why not put a team together to take part in the Bristol Half Marathon, join our Icelandic Lava Trek or speak to us about developing your own corporate challenge? Matched Giving - An increasing number of companies support staff fundraising initiatives by matching the amount they raise. This is a proactive way to provide an additional incentive to your staff and demonstrate your support. Corporate Events - Could you hold a client event such as a quiz night or Christmas Party to support Bristol's Hospitals? Many companies use their corporate events to support us, such as Standard Life who hosts an Annual Golf Day in tribute to a colleague who was cared for at the Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre. Payroll Giving - Is a simple and cost-effective way to donate to charity. Payroll Giving donations are deducted before tax so each £10 you give will only cost you £8, and if you're a higher rate tax payer it will only cost you £6 as the taxman pays the rest. ![]() Cause Related Marketing - Working in partnership to market a product of service for mutual benefit can help increase sales, press coverage and long-term customer loyalty. Whether it's a sales promotion or in-store merchandising, research has shown that consumers are more likely to purchase a product that supports a charity, particularly a local cause relevant to them and their family. Sponsorship - We have a range of sponsorship opportunities available to help increase awareness of your company in the market, whilst also supporting life changing projects across Bristol's hospitals. There are many other ways to support us from participating in our recycling scheme to volunteering to hold collections at your local supermarket.
