 Fundraising Event Details Round Britain Offshore Power Boat Race – Team Pulsar Racing - 21/06/08 Classed as possibly the greatest offshore powerboat race in the world and sure to give those competing a severe run for their money The Round Britain Offshore Powerboat Race will run again for the first time in 25 years. The race will take place from the 21st to the 30th of June and will start and finish in Portsmouth. Team Pulsar has entered 2 boats in this 1600 mile marathon. Their intentions are to compete at the highest level in their class and complete the race successfully. They aim, with your support to raise a substantial sum of money for their nominated charities and support those that are less well off than ourselves. One of the nominated Charities is the Complementary Therapies Fund for Bone Marrow Transplant Patients at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children and we are most grateful for al their efforts both in terms of taking par tin the race and in terms of raising money for Above and Beyond Charities.
